Since Creative Glass Guild began in 1979, as a design house, the business has become more and more focused on the stained glass and fusing materials and tools supply operation. In June 2004 the business was taken over by James & Deborah Paget. Since then the company has been expanded rapidly with more choice than ever being offered from the store. It is our mission to continue to grow and improve our service and products, and firmly believe that helping our customers with great service and support will be mutually beneficial.

In August 2005, we launched our online shopping facility which, combined with a fast and reliable delivery service has become very popular with glassworkers across the UK . We take pride in our great service, low prices and fast deliveries. We are a firm who takes care of our customers and hold them in the highest regard.

In October 2006, Creative Glass Guild acquired the business of Bristol Hand Made Glass. The business is famous for Bristol Blue Glass and was originally set up by them in 1987. We are adding exciting blown glass from artists across the UK , glass and silver jewellery and fused glass work along side stained glass and copper foiled pieces and commissioned work from our in-house studio.

The Bristol Hand Made Glass Gallery, located in the historic Christmas Steps area of Bristol , is open Monday to Saturday 10 am to 6pm.

Feel free to visit our store, we welcome our customers seven days a week, and it is often better to see glass ‘in the flesh'. You can spend as long as you like browsing and asking questions about your stained glass or fusing work.
