1/2" Kiln Dot (Post)

Handy square kiln posts (feet) 1/2" thick (12mm) which are great to prop up kiln shelves and moulds for glass working. Cut from skiln shelf they are sturdy and have many applications in the kilns.

    Versatile Addition to your kiln furniture

    These little bricks are so useful when creating curved dams. They help to even out the shape so there is less coldworking to be done. Also great for raising moulds when slumping.

    I purchased these as I was having some issues with slumping a tray bowl, which is quite shallow. But having placed these under the mould, the air seems to flow much more freely and my results improved. A great idea and a great little product. Can also used as dams for small objects or cabachons.
