Clarity Devitrification Solution

Clarity is a borax-based devitrification solution for glasses prone to devitrify. It is a simple application with a foam brush. No special equipment needed to apply.

  • Clean glass as usual
  • Do not stir or shake bottle before application
  • Using a foam brush or sprayer, lightly coat surface and sides of the top piece of glass only
  • Do not allow the coating to migrate between or underneath the glass
  • Allow to dry completely before moving to the kiln
  • Only use water to remove the coating
  • Wash brushes with water to clean
  • Working temperatures around 732C - 815C

Clarity contains borax. Caution should always be used when applying any solution.
