The secondary platform with water reservoir is sold separately and can be placed atop the main grid enabling use of 1/4″ and 1/8″ spindle top bits. You can order these Mini G Bits here

A great addition
By EmmaThis is a fantastic addition to the grinder. I use it with the the mini grinder bits to create really small cut outs in my stained glass pieces. Its a game changer for me!
