Steel Wire Wool
Wire wool is a versatile product for your pre-solder keying of lead joints. Cleaning lead came before soldering is essential, rub with wire wool to remove dirt and oxidisation, creating a keyed surface for solder to grip to. Wire wool can also be used to clean other materials such as wood, metal, plastic and stone. Removes stubborn dirt, superficial rust, oil, limescale and hard water deposits.
Can be used for cleaning of sheet glass with care, plus glass bricks and tiles reliably and scratch-free.
Grade 0 - Medium to clean and smooth
Grade 3 - Coarse for more bite in removing paint and stubborn oxidisation
